The Carwow Group is seeking a Technical Lead for Data Engineering to work with a team passionate about getting people into the right cars.
The role involves shaping the technical strategy for building data products and the future of Data Engineering at Carwow.
Responsibilities include leading the Data Engineering team, scoping new features, enhancing data architecture and pipelines, and collaborating with stakeholders.
The position requires contributing to a diverse Engineering culture based on customer-centricity, high-quality code, data-driven outcomes, technical innovation, and business impact.
The Technical Lead will identify technical differentiating factors of data products and leverage them in the architecture.

Previous experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Technical Lead is necessary.
Knowledge of data modelling, schema design, SQL, Python, data infrastructure, SQL ETL/ELT, DAGs, Airflow, Snowflake, and Terraform is required.
Experience with Ruby, data visualization tools, Amplitude, DevOps, Circle CI/CD, and AWS is preferred.
Ability to guide and mentor distributed teams, work cross-functionally, and desire for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Experience delivering impactful work, actively scoping projects, and engaging in the product development life cycle is essential.
