Description:
The position is for a Technical Lead Developer focused on the AU Payment Platform, with a work-from-home arrangement.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM AEST.
The role requires expertise in tech stacks including React, Typescript, Node, DynamoDB, and AWS.
Responsibilities include leading the development of a serverless platform and participating in an agile team environment.
The candidate will lead the development of TypeScript, Node, and DynamoDB applications.
The role involves coaching and mentoring developers and newcomers.
The candidate will design, develop, and maintain APIs, providing technical leadership and guidance to the team.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define API requirements is essential.
The candidate must ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and performant, while setting technical standards and best practices for API development.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, conducting code reviews, and participating in architectural discussions are key responsibilities.
The candidate will manage API versioning and lifecycle, implement security best practices, and ensure high availability and reliability of API services.
Optimizing API performance and scalability is also part of the role.
Participation in client and partner meetings to discuss API solutions is required.
Requirements:
The candidate must have delivered projects from Proof of Concept (PoC) to production.
Proficiency in using SST, CloudFormation, or Serverless Framework for deployment is required.
The candidate should be skilled in writing systems using the Typescript Lambda framework.
Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as TypeScript, C#, Java, or Kotlin is preferred.
Proven experience with DevOps tools in AWS, such as GitHub and CircleCI, is necessary.
The candidate must be skilled in monitoring AWS environments and services.
A good understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures is required.
The ability to script and manage AWS environments as code is essential.
Familiarity with CloudFormation, VPCs, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, and Lambda is necessary.
