Description:
The Technical Lead - Java position at 3Pillar involves collaborating with industry leaders to drive transformative projects across various sectors, including urban living, media, and healthcare.
The role requires effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
Responsibilities include crafting high-quality client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, and secure.
The candidate will participate in planning and estimation efforts, gather requirements, and present developed features to clients.
The position involves executing complex activities within current methodologies and quality standards, ensuring success across diverse engagements.
The Technical Lead will promote client success by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions.
Engagement in agile software development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives, is expected.
The candidate will mentor others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) and support the growth of technical capabilities within the Engineering Practice community.
The role requires independent project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability from conceptualization to deployment.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Java 11, Eclipse Link (similar to Hibernate), JSF2, Bootstrap, CSS3, Oracle DB, AWS, Ansible, and Jenkins is required.
Strong experience with Java 8 or Java 11 is necessary.
The candidate must be willing to work on UI tasks, as JSF is used for these tasks.
Previous experience with JPA implementation (Hibernate or EclipseLink), relational databases, web frameworks, and Maven/Gradle is essential.
Unit testing experience is required.
The candidate must have technical responsibility over the solutions delivered and be involved in cross-team collaboration.
Involvement in architectural activities at the account level and helping teams remove roadblocks to successful delivery is expected.
The candidate should be proactive in driving initiatives that provide value to clients beyond day-to-day activities.
Requirement analysis, coding, design, implementation, testing, problem analysis and resolution, and technical documentation are key responsibilities.
