Remote Technical Lead Manager (Onchain Payments)

Description:

• The Technical Lead Manager (TLM) will be responsible for developing a new onchain payments product and protocol to replace the global payment stack with crypto rails.
• They will lead and manage a team of talented fullstack engineers, fostering a culture of iterative development, efficient execution, and onchain-forward thinking.
• Rapidly prototype user flows, integrate with various Coinbase surfaces, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and drive the adoption of engineering best practices.
• Provide strategic insights, leverage market insights, align team goals with organizational objectives, manage resources efficiently, monitor performance metrics, and represent the team in company-wide initiatives and external events.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a leadership position of an onchain start-up.
• Strong background in rapid fullstack development, with expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, and Solidity.
• Ability to mentor engineers, demonstrate resilience, possess deep blockchain knowledge, and fluency in product development and business skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, deep understanding of the payments product landscape, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Demonstrated commitment and understanding of the onchain ecosystem, including relevant influencers, thought leaders, and conferences.
