Remote Technical Lead - Node.js

Description:

• The Technical Lead - Node.js position involves developing and maintaining web applications using Node.js and React.js.
• The role requires writing clean, efficient, and scalable code for both server-side and client-side components of the application.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to gather and define requirements for new features or enhancements.
• The position includes building RESTful APIs and integrating them with front-end systems to enable seamless data exchange and functionality.
• Conducting thorough testing of the application, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, is necessary to ensure quality and reliability.
• The Technical Lead will identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues in a timely manner.
• Designing and implementing database schemas, queries, and data models using PostgreSQL is part of the responsibilities.
• Participation in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have excellent knowledge of JavaScript.
• A strong understanding of Node.js/Express or similar frameworks is required.
• Very good knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, is necessary.
• Candidates should possess very good knowledge of unit testing and integration testing.
• Front-end experience with React or Angular is considered a significant advantage.
• Experience with Cordova, Android, or iOS is also considered a plus.
