Description:

  • The Technical Lead - Operations Team Lead position at iTMethods involves acting as a technical leader within the Cloud Operations Engineers team to ensure the elimination of vulnerabilities and optimization of uptime for enterprise clients.
  • The role requires implementing resilient and robust solutions using automation for fault detection and recovery, as well as deploying solutions to prevent recurring faults.
  • Responsibilities include expert-level technical problem-solving, driving complex support request resolutions, optimizing support channels, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration within iTMethods.
  • The position entails providing support for maintenance and operations requests, serving as a technical escalation point, mentoring team members, collaborating with various teams, monitoring vendor updates, and supporting onboarding processes.
  • Additionally, the role involves conducting Root Cause Analysis, developing documentation, advocating for best practices, and upholding iTMethods policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Team Lead role managing people.
  • 5+ years in a technical role with significant experience in Cloud or DevOps, DevSecOps environments.
  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and certifications in AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives, improve processes, mentor team members, and automate support operations.
  • Continuous improvement mentality, commitment to coaching and developing the team, and desire for ongoing learning and certification.
  • Collaboration approach, experience in managing multiple customers and diverse applications, hands-on experience in Cloud or DevOps, and understanding of DevOps concepts and tools.
