Description:
3Pillar Global is seeking an experienced Technical Lead in Software Engineering specializing in Embedded systems, C, and Linux.
The role involves guiding the technical direction and implementation of projects from conceptualization to deployment.
The candidate will evaluate trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to ensure successful client outcomes.
Responsibilities include creating and leading the team's technical documentation and repository management practices.
The Technical Lead will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to oversee architecture and dependencies influencing product strategy.
The position requires contributing to code reviews, documentation, and addressing complex bug fixes with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
The candidate will mentor Senior Engineers and support the growth of technical capabilities within the Engineering Practice community.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with proficiency in C and Linux.
At least 7 years of experience in C programming and 5 years in Linux.
High level of English proficiency is required for interaction with a globally based development team.
Experience leading Agile software development methodologies is essential.
Demonstrated ability to adapt high-level architecture to project and client needs.
Capability to verify and validate architecture implementations and influence overall architecture beyond the team.
Expertise in object-oriented programming, preferably in languages like Java or C.
High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to create and implement scalable, secure, and performant enterprise-level systems.
Proven initiative in mentoring engineers and decision-makers within the organization.
Strong knowledge of architectural styles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and OWASP.
