Description:

  • The Technical Integration Lead will act as both a hands-on software engineer and a liaison between customers and integration developers.
  • Responsibilities include performing integrations that involve coding, developing requirements, estimating tasks, and providing technical leadership to the offshore development team.
  • The role requires expertise in software development, cloud platforms, and integration processes to execute integration projects and guide the development team.
  • The position involves analyzing integration processes to identify commonalities and implement improvements for greater efficiency and reuse.
  • The company operates 100% remotely, with team members located in Canada, the United States, and Sri Lanka, requiring coordination with team members across these regions.
  • Key responsibilities include hands-on integration, technical leadership, serving as a liaison, requirement development, task estimation, team coordination, process improvement, project execution, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software integration, development, or a related technical role is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in software development and coding practices is essential.
  • Experience with programming languages such as PHP, Python, or JavaScript is required.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is needed.
  • Knowledge of databases such as SQL or NoSQL databases is important.
  • Experience with API integrations and file-based data exchange is required.
  • Understanding of web technologies and frameworks is necessary.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze processes and implement improvements for efficiency is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, especially with non-technical stakeholders, are necessary.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent spoken and written skills, is required to effectively communicate with U.S. customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail are essential.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with PHP, AWS services (especially S3), React, and SQL, familiarity with cloud-based integration tools, relevant technical certifications, and food service experience.
