Description:
The Technical Solutions Architect drives the solution development process during capture and proposal activities for new opportunities and recompetes.
This position works closely with Client Solutions Managers, Proposal Managers, and delivery teams to design innovative, compliant, and competitive solutions for federal, state, and local RFPs, RFQs, and contract vehicles.
The role requires strong analytical, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills to translate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling, and compliant proposal content.
The Technical Solutions Architect ensures that Nava’s solutions are aligned with customer needs, government compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA, Section 508), and industry best practices in human-centered design, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities include leading the development of technical solutions, authoring technical sections for proposals, developing technical white papers, and participating in color team reviews.
The role also involves collaborating with business development and delivery teams, engaging with government clients, and staying up to date on emerging technologies and government IT trends.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in IT architecture, digital services, or technical solutioning, with at least 3+ years supporting proposals or capture efforts for government contracts.
A deep understanding of government procurement processes, including federal/state/local RFPs, RFQs, and contract vehicles is essential.
Strong technical writing skills are necessary, with experience in developing proposal content that translates complex IT concepts into compelling narratives.
Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, Section 508, and other government security/compliance frameworks is required.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to balance compliance, feasibility, and innovation in solution design.
Experience engaging with government stakeholders, proposal teams, and partners/subcontractors to refine technical solutions is also required.
