Description:
Tinybird is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to define and implement data architecture solutions for clients.
The role involves working cross-functionally across Sales, Engineering, and Product to engage with prospects and existing customers.
Responsibilities include participating in product demos, assisting with technical integrations, answering questions, and providing expert guidance.
The engineer will work closely with customers to understand their business goals and technical requirements, transforming these into practical solutions using Tinybird.
The position requires helping customers implement real-time data solutions at scale and teaching them how to harness the power of the platform.
The engineer will tackle complex performance challenges, reducing latency and improving overall efficiency.
Quick prototypes will be developed to demonstrate best practices and solutions to customers.
Proficiency in SQL is necessary, as the platform is built around it, requiring the writing of efficient and optimized queries.
Insights gained from customer interactions will influence the future development of the Tinybird platform.
Requirements:
Strong experience with data architecture, SQL, and performance optimization is required.
Experience with real-time data or distributed systems is a plus.
The candidate must be customer-focused, able to connect with customers, understand their challenges, and create effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills are essential for explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms.
A collaborative mindset is necessary, as the role involves working with cross-functional teams and contributing to a shared vision.
Ideally, the candidate should be based in Europe or a time zone close to CET, but flexibility in location is available.
Benefits:
The position offers a salary range of €68,400 - €89,000 a year, which includes base salary and target bonus.
Tinybird is a fully remote company, promoting a remote-first culture with the option to visit offices in Madrid and New York City.

Compensation includes both cash and stock options.
