Description:

The Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Tempo will be responsible for designing and optimizing machine learning systems to automate predictive models using signals from the software development lifecycle process.
They will transform business requirements into machine learning solutions, ensuring accurate user recommendations and documenting machine learning processes.
The role involves staying updated on machine learning developments, leading the team through appropriate adoption, and evolving the ML and Data practice at Tempo.
Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing technical leadership and mentorship, and recommending strategies for maintaining ML and data assets are key responsibilities.
The position also involves ensuring compliance with legal requirements in the development of data and ML processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field; Masters or Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a machine learning engineer.
Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, and familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS and GCP.
Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
Understanding of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational abilities.
