Description:

• The Quality Assurance Office at ELEKS is seeking a Trainee/Junior Automation Test Engineer (TypeScript/JavaScript) in Poland.
• The role involves reviewing, analyzing, and assessing project requirements and specifications to create quality control process artifacts.
• Responsibilities include preparing manual test cases for automation, acquiring test data, developing and executing automation scripts, and documenting deviations from expected results.
• The position also requires using automation scripts administration, monitoring, and management tools, as well as contributing to test documentation creation.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have at least 6 months of commercial experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript is required.
• Basic knowledge of CSS selectors and web automation using Playwright, wide, or Selenium is necessary.
• Familiarity with the npm package manager and Git version control system, including basic commands, is essential.
• Basic understanding of API testing (e.g., Postman) and databases, such as writing simple queries, is needed.
• Ability to identify appropriate tasks and timing for automation is a must.
• An upper-intermediate level of English experience is required.
