Description:

Orca Bio is seeking a LIMS software solution developer to configure the Traksys Manufacturing Execution System.
The role aims to streamline and enhance laboratory testing processes required for drug product manufacturing and testing.
Responsibilities include sample management and tracking, test order management, scheduling and automation, testing process documentation, integration with result files and testing equipment, and test report generation and tracking.
The developer will write highly efficient and maintainable production-level code in C#.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to develop, test, and deploy software solutions that meet business requirements.
The developer will ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews and testing using Selenium.
Optimization of application performance, scalability, and reliability is a key responsibility.
The role involves working closely with product managers, designers, scientific subject matter experts, and other developers to deliver high-quality software products.
Participation in architectural discussions and contribution to the overall Traksys implementation at the company is expected.
The developer will also work with the middleware development team on product module integration.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical) is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience configuring and developing Parsec TrakSYS applications is necessary.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of programming experience in C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
Experience with SQL is required.
Basic knowledge of API data structures and communications is necessary.
Familiarity with working in an FDA GMP manufacturing environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of FDA CFR part 11 compliance is required.
