Description:
The TypeScript Engineer position at Last Call Media involves working on projects with LCM’s government clients to rigorously test their applications to ensure they are ready for real-world use.
The role requires expertise in various testing technologies and comfort with complex business processes.
The engineer will investigate and analyze production and pre-production issues using logs and monitoring tools.
They will expand test coverage for a large system with diverse component applications and create test data to support quality assurance and training teams.
Testing the behavior of API endpoints against requirements is a key responsibility.
Participation in team and company retrospectives to define and refine working agreements and processes is expected.
Requirements:
Significant, progressive experience in end-to-end testing (Cypress, Playwright), unit and integration testing (Jest), scripting with TypeScript using NodeJS, load and stress testing (Artillery), and building user interfaces with React.
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Experience working on projects integrating multiple languages or components.
Familiarity with technologies like PostgreSQL, Postman, Python, Terraform, and Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence).
Knowledge of testing best practices.
