Remote TypeScript Engineer

Description:

• As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing blockchain applications.
• Your expertise will facilitate the next generation of decentralized solutions, accelerating our product development and empowering our users.
• This position will report directly to our Engineering Manager, with the opportunity to grow with the role and company.
• You will design and develop scalable and secure blockchain infrastructure applications using TypeScript.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• You will implement smart contracts and integrate with blockchain protocols.
• You will ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of blockchain solutions.
• You will conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• You will stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into the solutions.
• You will write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
• You will participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the design of our blockchain infrastructure.

Requirements:

• You should have 3-5 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on TypeScript.
• You must have proven experience working with blockchain technologies and smart contracts.
• You should have an understanding of decentralized protocols and consensus algorithms.
• Experience with functional programming languages is a plus.
• You must have a solid understanding of software development principles, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.

• This role has an annual starting salary range of $130,000 - $180,000, plus benefits.
