Immersive Labs is seeking a motivated and curious Front-end developer to join their Product Design team as a UI Developer.
The role involves the systematic end-to-end implementation of design in the platform UI, focusing on operation, contribution, extension, and performant delivery for the end user.

The UI Developer will drive the centralization, extension, and polishing of the front-end tech, caring for the design system full time, eliminating debt, and modernizing it to match standards.
Responsibilities include crafting a strong product for high-quality user experiences, streamlining development workflows, owning the implementation of new components and patterns, advocating for internal standards, ensuring accessibility, providing mentorship, gathering feedback, and working as the technical driver for composable product realization.
The current tech stack includes Typescript, React, CSS tooling (Vanilla Extract, Tailwind, Styled-components), Ruby on Rails, Node, Python, AWS, Github, and Slack.

Requirements:

Candidates should have several years of experience working on a product or SaaS platform.
Experience in JavaScript frameworks, preferably React, is required.
Demonstrable knowledge of best practices and patterns in large, scalable frontend codebases and familiarity with CI setups is necessary.
Understanding of Git, semantic, accessible HTML, CSS, and CSS in JS solutions is essential.
Candidates should have the ability to critically review technical solutions and identify potential performance, design system, security, and scalability issues.
Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver product features are important.
