Description:

H2O.ai is seeking a creative UI Engineer with a strong UX mindset to design exceptional user experiences for their generative and predictive AI solutions.
This role requires transforming complex AI capabilities into intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces.
The position is remote but prefers candidates based in Ottawa, Canada.
Responsibilities include designing and developing responsive user interfaces for AI platforms, collaborating with data scientists and product managers, creating interactive prototypes, building reusable UI components, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, working with real-time data visualization, participating in user testing, and staying updated on UI/UX trends.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of professional experience in UI development using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
A strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) is required.
Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility is essential.
Proficiency with UI/UX design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is necessary.
A portfolio demonstrating creative UI solutions and strong visual design sensibilities is required.
Experience working with REST APIs and handling dynamic data in front-end applications is needed.
