Description:

B2C2, a digital asset pioneer, is seeking a UI Software Developer to join their team.
The UI development team collaborates with various departments like Trading desks, Credit risk, and Sales to work on trading interfaces, risk controls, and alerting systems.
The team uses React and Typescript for front-end development, while microservice backends are written in Node.js and Go, deployed on Kubernetes on AWS.
Code quality is crucial due to the impact on the firm's safety, especially when presenting large datasets to traders.
The UI developer will work on providing features to different projects, including trading desks and the client-facing OTC trading application.
Responsibilities include understanding requirements, writing code, maintaining test coverage, and contributing to the team Wiki.
The role may involve various tasks based on changing responsibilities and business objectives.

Requirements:

Development experience with React applications beyond basic widgets.
Proficiency in Redux, ideally redux-toolkit, and backend experience with Node.js, Python, or Go.
Familiarity with Git, Continuous Integration workflow, and unit/integration testing using Jest or similar tools.
Ability to provide and receive technical feedback and open to feedback.
Preferred skills include exposure to web application development with immediate business impact, knowledge of AG-Grid, Typescript, Material UI, Styled components, and Python.
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, trading, and middleware protocols like Redis, FIX protocol, REST APIs, and Websockets.
Interest in trading systems and crypto.
