Remote UI/UX Creative Team Lead

Description:

• Superside is seeking a UI/UX Creative Team Lead to drive creative excellence and foster a collaborative team environment.
• The role involves overseeing the creative vision across Websites, Landing Pages, Emails, Design Systems, and Product Design.
• The Team Lead will mentor and manage a global team of UX/UI Designers to deliver exceptional digital experiences for top-tier brands like Meta, Amazon, and Google.
• Responsibilities include overseeing the execution of creative projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
• The Team Lead will act as the primary creative contact for customers, providing strategic insights, managing expectations, and building strong relationships.
• Regular 1:1s and team meetings will be facilitated to support team development, resolve challenges, and align goals.
• The Team Lead will review team deliverables to maintain high-quality standards and ensure alignment with client objectives.
• Collaboration with Creative Project Managers is essential to scope, plan, and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitoring team performance through analytics dashboards addressing CSAT scores, escalations, and overall workload balance is required.
• The role includes contributing design expertise during sales efforts, including RFPs, proposals, and client pitches.
• Encouraging continuous learning and development, leveraging AI tools and industry best practices is a key responsibility.
• The Team Lead will lead quarterly reviews and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with career paths and Superside’s expectations.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
• A proven ability to lead and mentor teams while balancing individual growth and project success is required.
• A strong portfolio showcasing leadership in Websites, Landing Pages, Emails, Design Systems, and Product Design is necessary.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and design tools is essential, along with the ability to guide workflows and mentor effectively.
• A solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) for seamless design-to-development collaboration is needed.
• Expertise in building scalable design systems and conducting UX/UI audits focused on accessibility and responsiveness is required.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Figma plugins) and a commitment to leveraging innovation for efficiency is necessary.
• Strong communication skills to articulate strategies, provide feedback, and collaborate effectively are essential.
• Knowledge of platforms like Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify, with the ability to guide integrations, is required.
