Description:
Element 84, a woman-owned small business, is seeking a UI/UX Front End Engineer to work on geospatial data processing pipelines and software projects.

The Front End Engineer will work on complex user interaction systems and fast, responsive interfaces, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers.

The ideal candidate should have strong visual and user interface design skills, experience with React or other front-end frameworks, and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, with 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and strong visual design skills.
Experience with React or other front-end frameworks, Git, and build tools like Gulp, Grunt, and Webpack.
Basic understanding of programming languages like Python, Ruby, and Rails, and experience with templating engines.
Ability to evaluate different tooling options and open-source solutions, work closely with scientists, and develop interactive dashboards.
Excellent communication skills, ability to work remotely, and maintain confidential information.
