Description:
Sleek is seeking an experienced and dynamic UI/UX Lead to join their team and drive the design of exceptional user experiences for their platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design, particularly in designing complex B2B software solutions.
Responsibilities include leading the design vision, defining user flows, creating intuitive interfaces, and ensuring the overall quality of the user experience.
The role involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders and includes a user feedback loop to improve the platform in terms of user engagement.
The mission is to make Sleek a platform that users love to visit, promote, and work on in their daily usage.
Key outcomes include increasing the monthly active users from 23% to 46% in the next 12 months, improving the Net Promoter Score (NPS) to a minimum of +20, and standardizing design output to reduce delivery time by at least 20%.
The candidate should have knowledge of the latest design tools, including Figma.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the design process from research to implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading user research efforts, designing wireframes and prototypes, and defining design principles for standardization.
The role also involves team leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder management, advocating for user-centered design practices within the organization.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3-4 years leading design teams, ideally in B2B SaaS platforms or enterprise-level applications.
Proven track record of designing B2B platforms, with experience in the accounting space being a plus.
Solid understanding of UX research methods and the ability to apply findings to the design process.
Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, though not mandatory.
Understanding of front-end development processes and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
