Koin Games is creating blockchain gaming experiences for the next generation of entertainment software and digital asset ownership.
The company is seeking a talented Unity Game Engineer to join their team and develop innovative card and location abilities for an upcoming collectible card game.
This remote position allows the engineer to shape the future of card game mechanics, creating engaging abilities and dynamic interactions similar to those in Magic: The Gathering, Hearthstone, and Marvel Snap.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the design team to plan, prototype, and implement captivating card and location abilities, troubleshooting and resolving bugs with fellow engineers, ensuring adherence to industry performance and quality standards, maintaining clean and efficient code, and contributing to the overall gameplay experience.
Bonus skills include experience with the Beamable gaming backend, developing pipeline tools, and expertise in performance optimization for mobile and desktop platforms.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional software development experience.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience developing with Unity and C# is required.
At least one released game for desktop or mobile platforms is necessary.
Candidates should be self-motivated and able to thrive in a fully remote work environment, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.

Koin Games offers competitive salaries based on market standards, with a base salary range of $80,000 to $112,000 USD, depending on skills and experience.
Employees are required to work core hours on Pacific time and will be considered on a contract basis only.
