Description:
We are looking for a talented Gameplay Programmer to join our team at BreederDAO.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and fine-tuning gameplay features, mechanics, and systems to create engaging player experiences.
You will collaborate with designers and artists to bring game concepts to life, ensuring that the gameplay is fun, intuitive, and performs optimally.
Responsibilities include collaborating with game designers to understand gameplay requirements and translating them into functional features.
You will implement and optimize gameplay systems and mechanics in C++ or C#.
Debugging and troubleshooting gameplay-related issues and performance bottlenecks will be part of your duties.
You will conduct gameplay testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve features.
Staying updated on industry trends and emerging gameplay technologies is essential.
You will create documentation for gameplay systems and features for team members.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Gameplay Programmer or similar role in game development is required.
Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C# programming languages is necessary.
A good understanding of ECS and Full Stack is expected.
Experience working with game engines, preferably Unity, Unreal Engine, or both, is essential.
A solid understanding of gameplay mechanics, game design principles, and player experience is required.
The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is important.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
Experience with version control systems is required.
A passion for gaming and staying current with industry trends is essential.
