Description:
Brazoderecho is looking for a Unix Tech Lead with at least 5 to 8 years of experience in relevant technology.
Knowledge of Agile principles and practices is a must.
The role involves analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
A solid understanding of object-oriented programming is required.
The primary technical skill set includes Unix (Amazon Linux), shell scripting, Java, and Istio.
The secondary skill set includes NodeJS, Cassandra, Kafka, JavaScript, GoLang, Helm2, and Go.
Principal responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining Amazon Linux operating systems on servers and workstations.
The candidate will manage system resources, perform system updates, patching, and security hardening.
Implementing and maintaining system monitoring and alerting is essential.
Strong proficiency in shell scripting and understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems is required.
Experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) and understanding of data structures and algorithms is necessary.
The candidate should have strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js, along with experience in Node.js frameworks.
Understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) is required, with working experience in Cassandra preferred.
The role involves developing and maintaining Helm charts for various applications and services and troubleshooting Helm-related issues.
Strong proficiency in the Go programming language and experience with Go frameworks and libraries is necessary.
Good English verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with remote teams.
The candidate should be able to work independently, multitask, adhere to project schedules, and ensure quality deliverables.
