Demiurge Studios is seeking outstanding engineers with a passion for gameplay, UI, tools, and performance optimization to join their team.
The position is remote and full-time, focusing on delivering innovative games for PC, Android, and iOS devices.
Responsibilities include working closely with artists and designers to understand and define game features and system requirements.
Engineers will implement, test, debug, and maintain source code while providing ongoing support to artists and designers.
The role requires delivering high-quality, functional systems on time and to specification, making educated trade-offs among scope, quality, and pace.
Engineers will also provide time estimates for feature development and proactively solve blocking issues.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional software development experience.
Professional experience in C++ and developing software with the Unreal Game Engine is required.
Strong programming and software architecture skills are essential.
Experience with agile methodologies in software development is necessary.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to maintain code quality and achieve development goals with minimal supervision.
A BS or higher in Computer Science or a similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.) or equivalent experience is required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in mobile development, SaaS development, professional game development, software optimization, porting software to new platforms, maintaining legacy software, developing tools for content creation, and working with external clients.
