Description:
Praxent is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to champion client outcomes and continuous improvement.
The role involves architecting applications, defining DevOps processes, and clarifying requirements to ensure products deliver maximum business value.
Responsibilities include engineering value by architecting complex systems, leading software estimation, establishing DevOps processes, and configuring cloud-based deployment environments.
The engineer will ensure quality by conducting technical reviews, identifying and addressing performance issues, and increasing capacity and engagement.
The position requires eliminating ambiguity through technical planning, rigorous subtasking, advanced research, estimating software release timelines, and presenting technical approaches for features, project extensions, and add-ons.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical design, specializing in cloud architecture and integration solutions.
A minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience in technical teams is required, with the ability to define, inspire, and drive the execution of architectural visions across multiple projects.
Successful project delivery is essential, with a track record of teams delivering value consistently, reliably, and on-time and on-budget.
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of foundational principles of system architecture, including scalability, security, and performance optimization.
The ability to align development efforts with business outcomes and build trust with technical stakeholders is crucial.
