Description:

As a User Experience (UX) Engineer/Designer at Bask, you will work directly with the CEO, Director of Design, and our remote team to build and design the software infrastructure that will serve as the backbone of telehealth.
The company is looking to expand its software engineers, seeking those with a deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit.
The serverless platform is built using Vercel, Next.js, Prisma, and PlanetScale for a powerful multi-tenant application.
The role involves reworking the current user interface to make it more intuitive, user-friendly, and aesthetically appealing while maintaining robust complexity.
Primary duties include conducting thorough user research to understand the target audience, collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing wireframes and prototypes, evaluating the existing UI, streamlining workflows, ensuring design alignment with brand identity, conducting usability testing, and staying updated with UX design trends.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a User Experience Designer, UI Designer, or a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing successful UX projects is required.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar is necessary.
A deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards is essential.
Familiarity with software development processes and the ability to balance user experience improvements with technical feasibility is required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders are necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset, capable of finding innovative solutions to complex design challenges, are required.
