Description:

  • The UX Architect at Guidewire will work with a close-knit and multidisciplinary team to create innovative solutions for global software in the insurance industry.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with designers and researchers, bridging different functions to define and prioritize problems, planning and running workshops with stakeholders, mapping out complex processes and journeys, iterating design solutions, and crafting user interfaces.
  • The role involves working with Business and Development teams to align designs with business objectives and technical feasibility.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in user experience design, interaction design, and user research, preferably in enterprise and complex business processes.
  • Interest and experience in designing tools for software developers, with coding experience being a plus.
  • Proficiency in planning, executing, and synthesizing research, using design and collaborative tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Miro, Invision, etc.
  • Familiarity with design systems and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A design portfolio showcasing human-centered design processes and business success.
