Description:
The UX Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and debugging code for UI/UX on a future iteration of the WWE 2K Series.
They will collaborate with UI/UX artists and pod engineers to address technical issues.
The role involves proactively evaluating and addressing performance, stability, and scalability issues.
The position is fully remote and reports to the Principal Engineer.
Requirements:
Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages.
Ability to write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
Must work effectively as part of a team and be comfortable navigating a large codebase.
Should be independent, able to find work without guidance, and have a passion for video games.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of UX implementation experience and shipped game titles, preferably on consoles.
Experience with UI heavy games such as sports sims is a plus.
Must have a love for learning new technologies and proficiency in JIRA and Perforce.
Benefits:
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $89,262 and $114,760 per year.
The total compensation package may include other elements such as a bonus, equity awards, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
