Description:
We are looking for an intermediate level UX/UI Developer with strong knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and associated libraries (e.g. React, Node.js, SASS, etc.) and cross-platform browser issues.
The position is part-time and based in DinastÃa, N.L., Mexico.
The developer will be primarily responsible for the front-end of all products and will partner with backend development to ensure that the front and back-ends work together as expected.
Responsibilities include creating developer-ready UI assets, responding to UX creation and change requests from the implementation teams, maintaining UI component libraries, mentoring junior developers within the team, and attending daily standups and sprint planning meetings.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of UX software development experience at an intermediate level.
Fluency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and associated libraries (e.g. React, Node.js, SASS, etc.) is required, along with knowledge of cross-platform browser issues.
Proficiency in managing and maintaining NPM (Node Package Manager) modules within projects is necessary.
Familiarity with source code version control, preferably Git repos, is expected.
Candidates should have experience with responsive design strategy and implementation.
Experience in enterprise-level application development is required.
Hands-on experience working within a scrum team is essential.
An understanding of UX best practices and cross-platform compatibility is needed.
A solid understanding of web accessibility principles and experience implementing accessible code to ensure inclusive user experiences is required.
Candidates must be able to translate XD/Figma prototypes into infographics, data visualizations, application features, and more.
Experience deploying cloud-based applications (Azure, GCP, Amazon preferred) is necessary.
Agile experience is required.
Experience in organizing and documenting large CSS code bases and knowledge of the Storybook framework is preferred.
