Remote UX/UI Engineer - Cybersecurity Hardware Products

Description:

• Conduct user research to understand the specific needs of enterprise users interacting with cybersecurity hardware interfaces.
• Develop user personas and workflows tailored to cybersecurity professionals, system administrators, and IT managers.
• Design intuitive user journeys and wireframes simplifying complex security features for technical and non-technical users.
• Ensure the product’s user experience prioritizes security and usability incorporating best practices from the cybersecurity industry.
• Design and develop interfaces for hardware devices like control panels, monitoring dashboards, and web-based configuration portals.
• Collaborate with the hardware engineering team to integrate physical device interfaces with software interfaces.
• Translate UI/UX designs into secure, responsive front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Optimize interfaces for real-time data handling and implement secure development practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the user interface meets security and user requirements.
• Regularly analyze user feedback, security data, and product performance to improve user interfaces.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design or front-end development, preferably in cybersecurity or hardware-based products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in designing interfaces for enterprise-level software or hardware products.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols, encryption, secure authentication methods, and best practices for secure front-end development.
• Ability to design interfaces balancing usability and security.
• Strong communication skills and analytical mindset.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
