Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Network Engineer with extensive experience in managing and securing enterprise networks using CISCO Firewalls with Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network security infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of performance, security, and reliability.
This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and hands-on experience with CISCO FTD technology.
Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and deploying CISCO Firewalls with FTD technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing network upgrades, monitoring and managing network security devices, implementing advanced security features, conducting regular security assessments, providing advanced troubleshooting, and acting as an escalation point for network-related incidents.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Solid experience in network engineering, with a focus on network security, is necessary.
Extensive hands-on experience with CISCO Firewalls, specifically with Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) technology, is essential.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security best practices is required.
CISCO certifications such as CCNP Security or CCIE Security are highly desirable.
Proven experience with network monitoring and security tools is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
Fluency in English is required.
