Description:

We are looking for a skilled VB.NET Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills for debugging code, extensive experience in VB.NET development, and expertise in SQL Server and SSIS.
This role requires hands-on experience with complex stored procedures, data transformation, and ETL processes.
Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and enhancing VB.NET applications, designing and optimizing SQL Server stored procedures, implementing ETL solutions using SSIS, and monitoring database performance.
The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions and stay updated with emerging technologies.

Requirements:

Strong experience in VB.NET development, including Windows Forms/EXE development and WCF Services is required.
Proficiency in MS SQL Server development, including relational modeling, complex stored procedures, and performance monitoring/analysis is necessary.
Expertise in complex SQL operations, including joins, data aggregation, grouping, and transformation is essential.
Strong knowledge of transactions, temporary table utilization, and T-SQL is required.
Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL processes is mandatory.
Experience with data replication services and QLIK is preferred.
Familiarity with data transfer from SQL Server to other database platforms is important, with DB2 experience being a plus.
Experience in data modeling, normalization, and denormalization is required.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is a plus.
Understanding of cloud technologies is a plus.
