Remote VPN Administrator (Network Administrator)

Description:

• Redox is seeking a VPN Administrator to support its mission of transforming healthcare data exchange.
• The role involves managing business-to-business IPSec VPN connections to ensure secure and reliable transfer of sensitive patient data.
• Responsibilities include configuring and managing B2B VPN tunnels, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal connectivity.
• The VPN Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business objectives and create documentation for network processes.
• The position also requires evaluating new technologies to enhance network performance and assisting external customers with connectivity issues.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have expertise in building, managing, troubleshooting, and providing customer support for B2B IPsec VPN connections.
• A strong theoretical and applied knowledge of layer 2, 3, and 4 protocols, particularly TCP, UDP, and IPsec, is required.
• Proficiency with the Linux command line, basic scripting, and networking/firewalling software such as iptables, tcpdump, and wireshark is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent attention to detail, are necessary for this role.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
