Description:
The Security Engineer, Vulnerability Remediation at Xometry will be responsible for analyzing security vulnerability reports generated through static application security testing (SAST).
They will build automation to assist with automatic upgrades and vulnerability tracking.
The role involves deep diving into identified vulnerabilities within the codebase to understand their root cause and potential impact.
The engineer will develop, test, and implement secure code solutions to remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner, prioritizing critical issues first.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in Python and Javascript technologies like Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Proficiency in working in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and collaborate across a diverse range of product and technology teams is required.
Previous experience at a marketplace or online product-led platform company is a major plus.
