Remote Web Content Developer (Remote | DoD)

Description:

• Rackner is seeking a Web Content Developer to support a DoD program, Platform One.
• Platform One is a DoD enterprise service capability aimed at implementing the DoD DevSecOps initiative by utilizing industry best practices, open-source software like Kubernetes and containers, and commercial solutions to establish CI/CD pipelines at various classification levels.
• Rackner collaborates with the Platform One program to provide technical services and expertise for the program’s success.
• The Customer Experience team is customer-facing and includes Sales, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Business Account Management, User Design, and IT Service Desk Support.
• The role requires experience or knowledge in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web development platforms is essential.
• Understanding web design principles, UX/UI design, and responsive design practices is necessary.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools is required.
• Responsibilities include developing and managing web content, creating and maintaining websites and web applications, and graphic design and multimedia content creation.
• The successful candidate will develop and maintain web content for Platform One's virtual onboarding and training platforms.
• They will ensure web content is current with the latest Platform One features, technology changes, and policy updates.
• The role involves close collaboration with the curriculum developer and training instructor to integrate educational materials into the web platform.
• Regular reviews and updates of web content will be conducted to enhance user experience and engagement.
• Monitoring and analyzing web traffic and user feedback will be part of the responsibilities to continuously improve web content and design.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience or knowledge in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web development platforms is required.
• A solid understanding of web design principles, UX/UI design, and responsive design practices is necessary.
