Description:

The position is for a skilled web developer based in Bridgetown, St. Michael, Barbados, focusing on crafting interactive, high-performing websites on enterprise-level CMSs.
The developer will lead the development and maintenance of four marketing websites.
Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and optimizing the websites, developing front-end lead generation tools, and creating scalable page templates and modules.
The role involves revamping the oldest site to align with other properties and leading the development of a new marketing site from a single landing page to a fully interactive experience.
The developer will proactively identify areas for performance improvements and implement technical SEO enhancements.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in web development.
Proficiency in HTML, template languages (HubL), JavaScript, CSS, and TailwindCSS is required.
Experience working on large company websites at scale and with enterprise-level CMSs (HubSpot CMS, WordPress, etc.) is necessary.
Familiarity with source control (Git) and a strong understanding of browser compatibility issues is essential.
Experience in creating responsive, SEO-friendly websites is required.
Excellent communication skills are needed to translate non-technical requests into actionable technical solutions.
Knowledge of Asana or similar project management tools is preferred.
The ability to work independently and effectively in a North American time zone is required.
