Description:

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with hands-on experience in BigCommerce to help update and improve our existing website.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles and a proven track record of working within the BigCommerce platform.
This role requires attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while following brand guidelines.
Key responsibilities include updating and maintaining the company website using the BigCommerce platform, customizing themes, templates, and site functionality, and optimizing website layout, user experience (UX), and mobile responsiveness.
The candidate will also troubleshoot and fix website issues or bugs, implement SEO best practices on-page, collaborate with other team members for content and design changes, and ensure website updates are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Proven experience in web development, especially with BigCommerce is required.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design is necessary.
Experience with BigCommerce themes, APIs, and third-party integrations is essential.
Familiarity with SEO principles and web performance optimization is required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design and brand standards is a must.
Excellent communication and time management skills are necessary for this role.
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is preferred.
Understanding of eCommerce UX best practices is important.
Knowledge of other platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress) is a plus.
