Description:
The Web Developer (Content Management System - CMS) will be responsible for maintaining websites written in React/NextJS or equivalent libraries.
They will engage with the development team and other stakeholders to complete tasks independently or as part of a team.
The role involves working with website builders and CMS such as Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or similar tools.
Proficiency in React/NextJS, Typescript, Vercel, REST APIs, Storyblok, SCSS with Tailwind, and integrating 3rd party software into existing websites is required.
The developer must have knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device compatibility issues and be able to rapidly prototype web applications.
Communication with clients, estimating development tasks, exposure to CI/CD best practices, and meeting deadlines are essential aspects of the role.
The position requires working 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience working with frontend applications and modern frontend technologies.
Proficiency in Git, NPM, Yarn, Node JS, and building react apps that consume content from an API (headless CMS).
Ability to create plugins/extensions for a CMS, maintain content in a CMS (Storyblok), and understand CMS plugins/extensions.
Familiarity with integrating new technologies, suggesting new technologies, and working with and creating plugins/extensions for a CMS.
Understanding of CI/CD best practices, estimating development tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both with clients and within the team.
