Remote Web Developer

Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and graphic designer to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive web applications.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end components.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a JavaScript Web Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio of previous web development projects is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TypeScript, front-end build tools, front-end performance optimization techniques, server-side JavaScript (Node.js), and testing frameworks/tools (Jest, Mocha).
