Description:

Granicus is seeking Full Stack Web Developers for their remote team in Costa Rica.
The role involves a variety of website development tasks, including setting up, modifying, building, and maintaining websites and data-driven, cloud-based web applications.
Candidates must have an advanced understanding of front and back end full-stack web development, including HTML, server-side programming concepts, T-SQL, and JavaScript.
A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MongoDB is required.
The position requires delivering high-quality, error-free work within budget constraints and on time.
The developer will work under the direction of the CMS Lead Developer.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the CMS Lead Developer and Project Manager, setting up applications within the CMS tool, creating CMS admin tools, testing completed work, managing timelines, and maintaining communication with team members.
The developer will also contribute to the development and maintenance of starter templates, internal tools, and component libraries.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of professional web development experience.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.
A solid understanding of server-side vs client-side rendering is required.
Experience with browser developer tools for debugging front-end issues is necessary.
Knowledge of optimizing load times, rendering performance, and asset management is important.
Candidates should have experience building and customizing websites on CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
Familiarity with no-SQL databases such as MongoDB is required.
Advanced CSS techniques and modern JavaScript features must be well understood.
Candidates should be able to read and interpret error logs and translate design mockups into responsive web pages.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are necessary.
Familiarity with version control software and experience with Jira, SCRUM/Agile development is preferred.
A commitment to staying updated with relevant trends and best practices in the field is required.
