Remote Web Infrastructure Software Engineer

Description:

• Hazel Health is seeking a Web Infrastructure Software Engineer to create and maintain foundational frameworks and reusable components for the production application.
• The role involves supporting the server team by developing developer tools and dashboards, including routing layers, data-fetching utilities, and system dashboards.
• Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable front-end frameworks, creating a suite of reusable UI components, and developing shared modules and utilities.
• The engineer will ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, performance, accessibility, and maintainability, while collaborating with peers to establish coding standards and guidelines.
• Staying updated with the latest front-end technologies, contributing to the front-end development strategy, and mentoring other developers are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience with a strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as TypeScript, React, useQuery, hooks, routing, and CSS-in-JS.
• Solid understanding of front-end build tools and processes, experience with state management solutions, and knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and the capacity to coordinate with multiple teams.
