Description:
Hazel Health is seeking a Web Infrastructure Software Engineer to create and maintain foundational frameworks and reusable components for the production application.
The role involves supporting the server team by developing developer tools and dashboards, including routing layers, data-fetching utilities, and system dashboards.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable front-end frameworks, creating a suite of reusable UI components, and developing shared modules and utilities.
The engineer will ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, performance, accessibility, and maintainability, while collaborating with peers to establish coding standards and guidelines.
Staying updated with the latest front-end technologies, contributing to the front-end development strategy, and mentoring other developers are also key aspects of the role.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional engineering experience with a strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as TypeScript, React, useQuery, hooks, routing, and CSS-in-JS.
Solid understanding of front-end build tools and processes, experience with state management solutions, and knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and WCAG accessibility standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and the capacity to coordinate with multiple teams.
