We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Web Developer with 2-3 years of experience in WordPress development to join our dynamic team.
This is a remote position reporting to a manager based in the U.S.
You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our corporate websites with a focus on creating seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins, working within both the Gutenberg and classic editors.
You will ensure websites are optimized for performance, security, SEO, and WCAG compliance.
The role involves building and updating custom Gutenberg blocks, focusing on creating engaging, functional content.
You will regularly implement updates and improvements to the website to enhance UI/UX.
The position requires optimizing the website for mobile-first, responsive design, ensuring high performance across all devices.
You will perform website security audits, troubleshooting, and feature enhancements as necessary.
Collaboration with marketing, design, and content teams is essential to understand project requirements and deliver cohesive digital experiences.
You will provide technical support for website issues, including bug fixes and server configurations.
Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in WordPress and JavaScript frameworks is crucial to continually improve the site's functionality and user experience.

Requirements:
You must have 2-3 years of WordPress development experience with a proven portfolio of custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL is required.
A strong knowledge of WordPress hooks, theme development, and plugin management is necessary.
Experience working with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) is expected.
Familiarity with SEO best practices, WCAG accessibility standards, and website performance optimization is essential.
You should have experience with Git version control and command line tools.
A basic understanding of website analytics and reporting tools is required.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, responsive web experiences are important.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team is necessary.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role ranges from $78,000 - $105,000 and may also include variable compensation.
