Remote Web Software Developer

Description:

• PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Software Developer to join their dynamic team.
• The Web Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications and solutions.
• This role requires strong technical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building scalable and efficient web software.
• Required clearance for this position is TS.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
• Candidates must have five or more years of relevant experience.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• The developer will create responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• They will build scalable and secure backend services and APIs using server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or .NET.
• The role involves designing and implementing database schemas, queries, and data models, and integrating backend services with databases using SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
• The developer will also develop and consume RESTful APIs to enable communication between frontend and backend systems and integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Implementing security best practices to protect web applications from common vulnerabilities is essential, including encryption, authentication mechanisms, and secure communication protocols.
• The use of version control systems such as Git to manage code repositories and collaborate with team members is required.
• The developer will deploy web applications to production environments using CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and code documentation is part of the job.
• Providing support and troubleshooting for deployed web applications as needed is also required.

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, or Ruby are required.
• Experience with frontend development frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar is necessary.
• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Express.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, or similar is required.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Firebase) is essential.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development using tools such as Express.js, Flask, Django REST Framework, or ASP.NET Web API is required.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is necessary.
• A Security+ certification is required.
• Preferred qualifications include CISSP, CEH, CSM, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS platforms, and Java Developer experience.
