Description:
Contentsquare is seeking a Web Software Engineer focused on Mobile Analysis to join their Engineering department.
The position can be hybrid/office-based in Paris, London, or Barcelona, or fully remote in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, or Spain.
The role involves developing and enhancing Contentsquare's Mobile technical vision and supporting its business.
Responsibilities include providing architectural direction for Web components, leading the end-to-end development lifecycle, and ensuring applications are optimized for performance and usability.
The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to align technical solutions with business goals.
The role also includes client support, troubleshooting, and building engagement and trust with clients.
The engineer will stay updated with emerging trends in mobile development and implement strategies to improve development efficiency.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Web development with Typescript is necessary.
Solid knowledge of mobile platforms, including iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java), along with experience in cross-platform frameworks (React Native/Flutter/Capacitor) is essential.
Strong knowledge of testing and testing frameworks, particularly Jasmine, is required.
Proven experience with API integration, asynchronous programming, and offline-first applications is necessary.
Familiarity with mobile DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps, is required.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Bonus experiences include contributions to open-source projects and knowledge of security best practices for mobile applications.
Required soft skills include strong decision-making and communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a collaborative mindset.
