Description:

The Webflow Web Developer Contractor will support the Web team in developing, managing, and optimizing websites built on Webflow for a variety of clients.
This role is primarily project-based and involves executing technical updates, content edits, and performance optimizations to ensure seamless website functionality.
The developer will play a key role in supporting SEO initiatives and enabling internal teams to focus on strategy rather than platform-specific learning.
Responsibilities include developing and customizing Webflow websites for clients across multiple industries, implementing SEO optimizations, executing technical updates, and troubleshooting issues within Webflow’s CMS and custom code editor.
The developer will work closely with account and SEO teams to ensure seamless site implementations without requiring them to navigate Webflow’s complexities.
Additional tasks include assisting with website launches, ongoing maintenance, providing light training and documentation for internal teams, and collaborating with SEO, Content, and Design teams to ensure development aligns with brand and UX/UI best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have expert-level experience with Webflow, as this is a must for the position.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required, along with experience customizing Webflow sites.
Experience implementing SEO best practices in Webflow, including metadata, schema markup, and site speed optimizations, is necessary.
The ability to translate design mockups and wireframes into fully functional Webflow websites is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot Webflow-specific issues efficiently are required.
Excellent communication and project management skills are necessary to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
A minimum of 2 years of industry experience working with Webflow in a professional setting is required.
