Description:
As the Website Administrator & Developer, you will oversee the technical operations of the WordPress website, ensuring consistent uptime, performance, and security.
You will update plugins, themes, and core WordPress versions to mitigate risks.
It is essential to maintain a staging environment that mirrors the production website as closely as possible, ensuring all updates and testing are performed in the staging environment before deployment to production.
You will manage website hosting, domains, and server configurations.
You will independently resolve technical issues, including plugin conflicts, server errors, or design inconsistencies.
Minor development changes, such as coding fixes and updates in PHP, HTML, and CSS, will be implemented by you.
You will develop and implement website changes using PHP, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript as needed.
Larger tasks will be delegated to a freelance developer with comprehensive briefs and follow-ups.
Collaboration with SEO and content marketing teams will be necessary to align website updates with broader strategies.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on web-related queries and progress updates.
Leading website improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met, will be part of your responsibilities.
You will prioritize tasks based on business impact and urgency.
Using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and uptime monitoring software, you will track and report website health.
Weekly status updates will be provided to stakeholders on website priorities and progress.
Conducting thorough quality assurance checks on completed tasks before deployment is required.
You will maintain detailed documentation of website processes, fixes, and SOPs.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in website administration, WordPress management, or web development is necessary.
In-depth industry knowledge regarding best practices, development, current regulations, and technology, particularly in Website Administration, Web Development, and WordPress, is essential.
A deep background in a remote setup of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor is preferred, with an understanding of the pros and cons involved in this industry.
A passion for resolving technical issues independently is required.
A portfolio showcasing past achievements in web development, troubleshooting, and maintenance skills is mandatory.
Certifications such as Google Analytics Certificate, WordPress Certificate, or similar are preferred.
Outstanding English communication skills (both written and verbal) are necessary.
You must be highly organized and detail-oriented, able to track and monitor projects in a timely manner.
The ability to communicate effectively with the team and clients is essential.
Flexibility to work any hours of the day is required.
A fast, reliable, and stable internet connection (LAN or Fiber) with internet backup is necessary.
Benefits:
The salary for this position is Php 120,000 per month.
This is a full-time remote position, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
The work schedule will be aligned with the Thailand timezone.
This position is classified at the expert job level.
