Description:
This is a remote role, and candidates must be comfortable working from their home office.
The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and supporting PTC's Windchill solutions.
The role involves leading a team of developers to achieve both technical and functional goals.

Responsibilities also include developing solutions around Change Objects, Parts, Documents, BOM Structures, and Effectivity.
The position requires troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing Windchill instances and supporting software.
Advising customers on the specification of software processes is a key part of the role.
Integration of CAD tools with Windchill is expected.
The candidate will upgrade the Windchill PLM solution and migrate data from legacy systems into the Windchill environment.
Acting as the Windchill Architect lead, the candidate will create new approaches to solve problems and grow the business.
Conducting Gap Analysis and performing data integration and migration are essential tasks.
The role involves analyzing clients' data models and advising them on data cleansing, manipulation, and preparation for migration.
Advising customers about or performing maintenance of the software system is required.
The candidate will propose high-level PLM solution designs to improve or optimize existing product development processes.
Developing software-testing procedures through conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to ensure customer satisfaction is necessary.
The candidate must independently install, customize, and integrate software solutions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with PTC Windchill, Windchill API, and Java/JSP.
Expert knowledge of PTC's Windchill 11.1 or later versions is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is necessary.
Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role is essential.
A desire to learn about and implement new technology is expected.
Candidates must have the ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously.
