Built Mighty / Little Rhino is a remote US-based Web Development company focused on building great software and solutions for customers.
The company is looking for a skilled and experienced WooCommerce / WordPress Developer and Troubleshooter to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure software products meet client needs.
The position involves working remotely to add features and build new WordPress and WooCommerce stores for small businesses.
Attention to detail and experienced help is crucial to ensure platforms can handle growing business demands.
This W2 position offers flexible hours ranging from 30-40 hours a week depending on availability and skill level.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the development team, writing clean and efficient code, testing and debugging software, delivering accurate work estimates, debugging high-risk issues, and maintaining communication with clients and team members.
You will also assist with the maintenance and support of existing software products and ensure proper documentation through GitHub and Jira.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a developer.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience creating, maintaining, and improving WordPress and/or WooCommerce Plugins and Themes is required.
Backend development experience is a must.
Experience with WooCommerce is essential.
Familiarity with Laravel is a plus.
Solid knowledge of PHP, HTML/CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, webpack, and Git is required.
Experience working with Agile methodologies is necessary.
Candidates should have knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting is required.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is necessary.
Candidates must be US-based, with the exception of New York.
Ability to develop fully remote in the Cloud is required, along with experience using GitHub, GitHub Codespaces, and Docker.
Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.

The position offers a pay rate of $40-50 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
