Description:

  • The WordPress Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites from concept to deployment.
  • This role involves customizing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project specifications.
  • The developer will collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketers to translate designs into functional and visually appealing websites.
  • Responsibilities include optimizing website performance, including speed and scalability.
  • The developer will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting for existing WordPress sites will be performed.
  • The role requires implementing responsive design solutions for mobile and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong security measures must be maintained to protect sites from vulnerabilities.
  • The developer will troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs as they arise.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices is essential.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or related applicable experience is considered in lieu of a degree.
  • The candidate must have 6+ years of experience in the field.
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer is required, with a preference for 3+ years.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is necessary.
  • Strong experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and customization is essential.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design practices is required.
  • Knowledge of website optimization techniques, such as SEO and performance tuning, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
